Being a coach you would agree that we pick up only the strongest possible players to make up the most promising team. Sometimes only few players are required who can be assembled without disturbing the existing set up.

Apart from fitness a lot other factors are at play during soccer tryouts.

Make sure your kid shows off his ability and skill depending upon what the coach wants during soccer tryouts.

The list of different aspects that coaches and soccer association look for in the players during the soccer tryouts is as follows:

Skill: how well the player performs the skill that is necessary to play soccer this will be critically evaluated by the coach. the performance in the match will be poor if the player is not able to exhibit the same during soccer tryouts. the ball should be in control during tapping, dribbling passing Evaluate the player based on his intuitive behavior and his knowledge on soccer

Conditioning: An average player with outstanding conditioning will always succeed in catching a coach’s eye. And so will the player who is out of breath just after 15 minutes into the soccer tryout. Both the team and the player is let down, if your players can’t withstand the soccer tryouts.

The coach will be wondering why the player failed to be in shape. if you are not in shape it reflect that either you don’t care or too lazy, or you are unprofessional in thinking that being out of shape wouldn’t matter.

Attitude: The player must have the potential as well as the intention to learn. Do the player exhibit the potential to perform all the task to his best every time?

Are they ready to work on their weaknesses so as to improve upon their skills? are they willing to go that extra yard Do they have the attitude to learn new skills, techniques and strategy ensure there are not complaints when the players learn their new positions.

When the soccer tryouts are over; pay attention to what happens next. Mostly time soccer tryouts are conducted over period the coach might inform you immediately if your player has made to the team. at other times you might be informed about their decision either through a call or letter to your home. don’t confront the coach with the question on your player status

In conclusion, make sure you gather up everything you brought to the field. Say good bye to the coach and thank him for his time and feedback in preparing you for the soccer tournament.
